Expectations
This is a 300-level research seminar. Students are expected to attend class every week and be prepared to participate fully in class discussions, and work independently on their own research project. Assignments, including drafts must be completed on time or there will be a grade penalty for late work. Students must follow guidelines set by the collections manager for working with objects in the collections
Grading
Writing Assignment 1: 10%
Writing Assignment 2: 10%
Writing Assignment 3: 10%
Writing Assignment 4: 10%
Final Research Project: 35%
Class Participation, including in-class presentations and learning evaluation: 25%
